Care & Warranty
Last reviewed — TODO — awaiting client and legal review
Every piece leaving our ateliers is warranted against faults in setting and workmanship. The term of that warranty is being confirmed with the house before publication.
Warranty
Elenatti & Co warrants the setting and workmanship of every piece it makes. The term of the warranty, and whether it transfers with the piece, are awaiting client detail.
What Is Covered
- Stone security — a stone that becomes loose due to a fault in the original setting.
- Solder joints and structural connections that fail under normal wear.
- Clasp mechanisms that fail to function as intended under normal use.
What Is Not Covered
- Accidental damage, including impact, crushing, or bending.
- Loss of a piece, or of a stone dislodged through impact rather than a setting fault.
- General wear consistent with age and frequency of use.
- Damage arising from alteration, repair, or cleaning performed by a third party outside the house.
Servicing
We recommend periodic inspection and cleaning — the interval, and whether it is offered without charge, are awaiting client detail — during which our workshop checks stone security, clasp function, and structural integrity. Resizing is available for most pieces; please consult our client care team, as certain settings and eternity designs impose limits on how far a piece can be safely resized.
Appraisal & Revaluation
Whether a piece is accompanied by an independent appraisal document at the time of sale, and how often the house recommends revaluation, are awaiting client detail. Revaluation should in any case follow any significant change in precious metal or gemstone markets, so that insurance coverage remains current.
Submitting a Piece for Service
Contact our client care team to arrange service. We will provide an insured, house-arranged shipping label, or welcome pieces brought directly to our Miami atelier by appointment. A written estimate is provided for any work falling outside the scope of the warranty before work begins.
